Dr Coral Arvon

Callie Marie Baquero, LMFT

Callie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her M.S from Carlos Albizu University and her B.S from the University of Miami.

Callie has over ten years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, families, and young adults. Her expertise includes eating disorders, depression, anxiety and self-esteem issues. Callie has worked at Montenido (formerly Oliver Pyatt Centers) as well as Mt. Sinai hospital where she led DBT group sessions.

Callie is a pilates instructor, which is directly correlated to her strong belief in the mind and body connection. She believes deeply that the mind, body and spirit operate in tandem. Her goal as a therapist is to help her clients work through their thoughts in order to get centered. Learning to implement skills to regulate the nervous system, she believes, can aid in tapping into intuition. With this, it is possible to better navigate and adapt to life’s many changes.

With a special emphasis on mindfulness, Callie’s goal is to help clients identify tools they often forget they already have in their possession to be their healthiest, and happiest selves.
