Dr. Sanchez draws on more than 28 years of diversified leadership experience, training, and education spanning multiple industries across four

Dr. Sanchez brings almost three decades of experience in the behavioral health care field. He studied and trained in multiple private psychiatric/addiction treatment facilities focusing on dually diagnosed patients, psychiatric hospitals, residential settings, community mental health centers, and private practice settings in South Texas, South Florida, New York, and California. He has focused on depressive disorders, anxiety-based disorders, and trauma-based disorders.  He also has extensive experience in working in couples and families therapy starting in Texas at MHMR from 1992 to 1994 and again in private practice and at Charter Hospital from 1996 to 2000. He has served in the capacity of chief operating officer and chief executive officer/executive director in many facilities over the past 28 years. Additionally, he has served as an expert consultant in the South Florida tri-county area. Dr. Sanchez worked as an expert consultant in forensic settings in Florida, New York, California and Texas in courtroom forums, jury research and for the federal and state corrections departments. When Dr. Sanchez is not working, he can be found playing the guitar and singing, working out at the gym, looking for the best surf spots in Florida and traveling to different parts of the world to surf.

Dr. Sanchez earned his Associates Degree in 1989 from Del Mar College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas in 1992 and a Master of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M in 1995. He earned his non-terminal Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2003 from Albizu University and completed his Doctorate in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from Albizu University in 2008.
