Marjorie Dangla, LCSW
Marjorie Dangla is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping others by integrating a culturally sensitive, mindful, and holistic practice approach to the treatment of individuals of various ethnic groups in need of counseling services. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish.
Marjorie studied at Florida International University, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Masters in Social Work, with a specialization in addictions. She has more than 15 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations at institutions such as Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, University of Miami Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and dialysis centers in the community by assisting patients with individualized treatment care plans for their needs of service.
Marjorie has extensive experience with working with:
- Children who have behavioral difficulties, selective mutism, or attention deficit disorder
- Adolescents dealing with eating, mood or personality disorders, life coaching
- Adults struggling with interpersonal life difficulties, couples with marital conflicts, depression, anxiety, or substance abuse
- Patients with acute and end-stage renal disease
Marjorie uses evidence-based practice interventions geared to optimize a balanced yet structured treatment outcome. Her individualized treatment plan will be catered to her patient’s needs, empowering them to achieve a more positive, balanced, and healthy lifestyle.
