Carlos Chamorro, MS, MSW. RLSW
Carlos graduated from Florida International University, with a Masters degree in Social Work. He has a background in developmental psychological research working with children/adolescent’s with anxiety and phobias. Since working in research he has assisted individual facing multiple struggles individually, using groups, and within family sessions. His focus is to assist individuals to find equilibrium within their lives, establish long-term coping skills and increasing personal empowerment.
He has worked in Crises Centers for children/adolescents, Juvenile Addiction Receiving Facilities, Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Programs, Foster Care, Trauma Centers, and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Treatment Centers. Within his experiences he has treated individuals addressing;
