Carolina Peredo, LMHC
Carolina Peredo, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University (FIU). She has experience working with a wide range of populations, from early childhood through adulthood, across diverse clinical settings including foster care, residential, crisis units, and outpatient therapy.
Carolina has experience supporting individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood-related concerns, and challenges related to life transitions and difficult life circumstances. She primarily utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. She has experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and is committed to providing an affirming, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic space.
Carolina is highly motivated to help individuals who are seeking emotional healing, personal growth, and improved quality of life. She believes in meeting clients where they are and working alongside them to develop insight, resilience, and practical coping skills to navigate life’s challenges.
