Doris Rivera completed her dual master’s degree in psychology, majoring in Marriage and family therapy and school counseling at Carlos Albizu University, Miami Florida and she is currently a registered marriage and family therapy intern in Miami Florida. Doris is bilingual, she speaks Spanish and English.

Doris is a compassionate therapist with 17 years of experience working at Banyan Health System supporting children, adolescents and their families and adults with warmth, patience and deep clinical insight, helping them navigate emotional challenges.

Doris approaches therapy as a collaborative and empowering process and believes in meeting each client where they are. Her long lasting commitment to ethical, client centered care has made her a trusted and respected clinician among clients and colleagues alike.
