I help people break free from the weight of trauma, anxiety, and self-doubt. For over six years, I have worked with clients navigating addiction, PTSD, crippling anxiety, and depression. Through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), clients are able to process painful memories and negative beliefs so they no longer interfere with daily life. EMDR is a powerful, research-backed therapy that can relieve depression and anxiety by calming the nervous system and rewiring how past experiences are stored in the brain. Many clients describe it as finally being able to hold their memories without being overwhelmed by them. I work with both teens and adults in EMDR therapy and also support couples in healing communication and restoring connection in their relationships.I speak both English and Spanish. Degrees were earned from San Francisco State University in 2007 and Louisiana State University in 2022.
In addition to EMDR, I integrate mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support healing on multiple levels. These approaches help clients ground themselves in the present, free them from unhelpful thought patterns, and regulate intense emotions. Together, we create the freedom to live fully in the present, without fear of the past.
