Jacnery Rodriguez Perez, LMFT

Jacnery is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and culturally responsive space for healing and growth. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Carlos Albizu University in Miami, Florida. Jacnery understands that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and she strives to provide a supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being open about your experiences, challenges, and goals.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed practices. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and the Seeking Safety model for trauma and substance use concerns. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, relationship stress, recovery, or a major life transition, Jacnery focuses on helping you gain insight, build practical coping skills, and develop healthier patterns that support lasting emotional well-being.

Jacnery works with adults, adolescents, and couples, drawing from her experience in residential, crisis, and outpatient settings to support clients through both acute and long-standing difficulties. In couples therapy, she helps partners move out of reactive cycles and toward clearer communication, emotional safety, and deeper understanding using Gottman-based interventions. Above all, she views therapy as a collaborative partnership built on trust, authenticity, and a shared commitment to meaningful, sustainable change.
