Izza-Marie Alcaide, LMHC
She earned her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida for over a decade and has experience working in a multitude of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, hospital settings, and nonprofit organizations providing substance abuse and mental health counseling services.
Izza’s approach is person-centered and trauma-informed while incorporating a variety of evidence-based practices, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
She believes in an individualized plan to discover inner strengths and build solutions. She works with a wide array of presenting issues, such as
