Catherine Manley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida with over 10 years of professional clinical experience. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals and organizations develop into their full potential. She works with adults, couples, families and the adolescent population.
Catherine Manley, a Miami native, entered the behavioral healthcare industry as a call to action to provide compassionate and innovative treatment to her community. She has worked in a variety of treatment settings including inpatient, outpatient, nonprofit organizations and local community centers. Her experience working at some of the most renowned and respected treatment organizations has provided her with extensive knowledge in crisis management and effective treatment with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, impulsive behaviors, OCD, substance abuse disorders, thought disorders, trauma, self-esteem issues and divorce. Catherine has received additional training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to specifically treat individuals suffering from trauma.
The goal of therapy is to assist individuals in identifying distorted and negative thinking patterns that can contribute to a lower quality of life. By empowering the client to identify their own resources for problem solving, patients are equipped to regain control of their lives and move towards self-actualization through the support of a collaborative therapeutic process.
